Exposure Visit and Exchange programme on migrated children

Children exposure and Exchange programme on migrated children and understand the Status of Children Livelihoods at Pharmaceutical company at Nakkaplli, Visakhapatnam. 25 Children from CMCJ AP have undergone Exposure trips on the Ecologically Destructed areas on various issues on the pollution in the area by the Bauxite company and Hetero Pharmaceutical companies the displaced children issues at Visakhapatnam Children are understood, educated & aware on the impact of Drug Company-The children understood through their interviews, especially the native’s loss their children education, health, livelihoods, dignity, resources for now and forever.

II nd exposure the children had been to Berahampur and exposed on Children Annual function day celebration. 14 children participated from 2 states and 3 districts. 157 Children are Exposed on Organic Farming nearby farms in learn and share experiences.


Millet Campaign

AP organized a millet campaign at Village Jallur Weekly market as the millets are disappeared in the local area, and the team organized an Exhibition by collecting the millets in the nearby villages and placed / exhibited in the Exhibition in weekly market. 150 varieties of Millets and other Indigenous seeds exhibited.


Anti-Child Labour Day

On World Day against Child Labour, Say NO to child labour – YES to quality education!

CMCJ Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh have organized World day against Child labour at the respective states on 12th June. About 700 school children & 150 women SHG members participated in this campaign. Hand bills were
11 distributed to the public. Awareness generated in 24 villages for children on Free, compulsory and quality education for all children and New efforts to ensure that national policies on child labour; Policies that ensure access to quality education and investment in the teaching profession.


World Wild Life Week Celebration on October 2nd – 8th 2015 at Kotauratla

Theme: Protection of Wild Life & Conservation

CMCJ AP/ K chapter organized Essay Writing, Quiz & Drawing on Wild Life Protection to CMCJ members and also awareness campaign on Wlid life protection , Human Chain and Public Speech , totally 300 Participants from CMCJ AP/ K , Odisha , ZMOe- German Volunteers, Govt School and Social welfare Girls & Boys Hostel Children.

Inter Cultural Dialogue Meeting at Semliguda (Andhra Pradesha and Odisha)-2015

CMCJ Inter Cultural dialogue on climate change was held on 15th April 2015 at IRDWSI, Semliguda with CMCJ members from the two states of Andhra Pradesh and Odisha. CMCJ children from AP and Odisha went to exposure visit in the nearest place and took survey about the displacement. They mainly focused on the following questions
1. Impact and effect of climate changes
2. Impact on Livelihood on indigenous life / Environment
3. What are the changes are occurred in those destructed areas by the industries?
The major issues in the displacement areas:
 Unemployment
 Displacement
 Poverty
 Landless labours

Cycle Yatra on Climate change

Rapid environmental changes cause extinctions of many species, natural resources such as land, forest, water, environment becoming scarce day by day as people tend to harm it and creating scarce for the future generations. Forest is the major resource for the livelihood of rural populace and for the environment protection, due to poverty deforestation taking place at all levels as the communities utilizing the natural resources. Children being citizens mobilize themselves to protect the environment by creating awareness among general population on ‘world environment day’ by organizing various programs. Children from ‘Balakeerthi’ project committed themselves to create awareness with support of HOTHS and KNH.
