Interactive workbook aim to make the learning process conducive for our children to learn, reflect and do bit of homework to gain knowledge on climate change and plan their way forward. Climate justice is a struggle over land, forest, water, culture, food, sovereignty and social rights; it is a struggle that considers “justice” as the basis for any solution; a struggle that insists on a genuine systematic transformation in order to tackle the real causes of climate change.
Climate change is an issue of inter-generational justice violation which calls for consorted effort from everyone including children with clear understanding of the issue from rights perspective. This learning will then scale up through peers in school, community and later through networking across the Nation and crossing International boundaries as strong network of children.
Climate is the average weather in a place over many years. While the weather can change in just a few hours, climate takes hundreds or even thousands of years to change. Climate change cannot be noticed immediately but happens over period of years and has its impact on the earth. Our Natural environment consists of all the living and non-living things that occur naturally on the Earth. The “interactive workbook for children” deal with the basis of climate change, how it happens, what is the science behind it and how to handle the same, etc., aimed to help our children gain basic knowledge on the subject. We are sure our children would love to read….
